5 Fav Business and Strategy Post – September 25th
Enjoy and please let me know what you think.
A TEDxBerlin that asks the question “How can we make digital content graspable?” This presentation looks at a handset that “display” information nonvisually and how it offers an intuitive way to communicate.
I found this post moved me to rethink that way that I approach chunking my questions. In fact I put a question out to the LinkedIn community about this earlier in the week.
Over on DigiDave David Cohn (Wired, Seed, Columbia Journalism Review and The New York Times) writes about how in the last few weeks there has been some interesting and exciting news in the journalism-startup world. He highlight the new players and provides his own personal analysis.
Kassia Krozser, like many others, is taking a hard look at the publishing industry and what can be or should be done to for it to survive. What makes this analysis unique and interesting is that it explores what skill sets each individual needs to help make a publisher sustainable. That right not what skills are collectively needed within the publisher but what skills each individual employer must posses and utilize.
Over on the Springwise blog they introduce us to Novacut who is spearheading a Free and open source software that is looking to make broadcast-quality production quality available for the Independent TV cohort. Needless to say that this will also facilitate a quality explosion in Internet delivered content. As I start to move more into video blogging (vlog) I will be keeping my eye on it development.
