Chal­lenge: Quan­ti­ta­tively prove that a media com­pany could not only extract sig­nif­i­cant incre­men­tal cash flow from its vast con­tent library, but also cre­ate a valu­able concern.

Action: Con­structed a com­plete detailed finan­cial model of the pro­posed con­cept, com­pared pro­jected returns to exist­ing busi­ness lines, and helped sharpen focus. A sig­nif­i­cant part of the analy­sis out­lined how all of the inter­nal stake­hold­ers ben­e­fited with­out can­ni­bal­iz­ing or dis­rupt­ing exist­ing business.

Result: Quan­tifi­ca­tion of over­all value helped man­age­ment green light the con­cept. The busi­ness has grown into a multi-million dol­lar TV franchise.
