Don’t call it a comeback

That’s certainly true for LL Cool J. In my case… not so much.

Six years ago my career path, where I was going serving my community, and the impact of blogging diverged. It’s not that I didn’t have anything to say… I did, and I continue to. I just did it in a different way.

So why am I back blogging now? Well…I am but I’m not.

Over the last several years I have found that the different facets (read skill sets and traits) of my professional careers have collided and formed this cross-functional domain called Advanced Analytics. Okay, I can hear you now…here comes someone else to jump on this “topic” of the moment. There is no doubt that that big data, predictive analytics, and heaven knows AI are all white-hot.

What I’m looking to do is share my experience and learnings as the responsibility of leveraging these bodies of knowledge migrates to under the realm of CFOs. What does this mean and how will it ultimately shake out?

I have a clue, but I’m not certain.
