Enjoy and please let me know what you think.

Strategy is Not a To Do List
Steve Blank gives us a gentile reminder – OK, more like a kick in the ____ – that we need to understand why we are doing the things that we are doing. Quite simply, strategy is not a to-do list it drives our to-do list. Even if you think you get this you must read this post. In fact, print it out and pin it to your wall so you see it everyday.

Ideas Are A Dime A Dozen, Execution Is All That Matters
“Ideas are sexy. Execution? Not so much – This is a conundrum.” – Scott Belsky, CEO Behance

Watch this Business Insider interview of Scott Belsky. Scott explains why he believes that ideas are a dime a dozen while execution is the real key to success. And what does it take to bridge the chasm between concept and action? According to Scott those

Brands Need to Optimize Mobile Web Sites Fast
Why your site(s) need to be optimized for mobile. According to Google about one-third of all Google searches are delivered on its mobile platform. And more importantly, 20 percent of searches are now related to location a clear indicator that individuals are looking to chunk tasks. Check out this video by Daisy Whitney on Beet.TV as she dives into this topic.

The next step: monetizing mobile inside and outside of Apple’s walls
Needless to say, publishers need to be where their core audience is. The rub is that most can’t afford to invest everywhere. The magazine industry has been talking nonstop about the iPad for months, but according to emedia vitals it’s time for publishers to hash out a real business model. A honest exercise that has no sacred cows and focuses on delivering quality experiences in a convenient fashion in a financially sustainable fashion.
Pop-up café offers ‘5 a day’
Brands and concepts have been relying on pop-up presences for a while. In fact, I’ve made note of it in the past. What makes this iteration different is that the sponsoring brand, Innocent, is helping people get their recommended 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables. No… they’re not holding people down and pouring in juiced produce. In fact, the smoothie brand enlisted the help of a celebrity chef to develop a range of meals for just GBP 5 – for those on the go. Innocent’s angel, well you’ll have to read the post.
