Case Study: Cable TV Channel

Challenge: Quantitatively prove that a media company could not only extract significant incremental cash flow from its vast content library but also create a valuable concern.

Action: Constructed a complete detailed financial model of the proposed concept, compared projected returns to existing business lines, and helped sharpen focus. A significant part of the analysis outlined how all of the internal stakeholders benefited without cannibalizing or disrupting existing business.

Result: Quantifying the overall value helped management green light the concept. The business has grown into a multi-million dollar TV franchise.
