When talking with people about a new project start with the big picture. Focus on what the collective is trying to do in terms of quality and creativity. Keep in mind that everyone comes to the table with their own blinders and filters, so repetition is the key. It is up to you to put into place a uniform context that allows everyone to interpretation the situation, get on the same page, and then leverage their unique experiences to discover the best solutions. “And so looping back with people and making sure that they’re on track, and passionate about what we’re doing, is critical.”
